Mattina in the Bahamas

Emotions run full speed when life changes are on the way. Since we’ve put Mattina for sale, we’ve been very pleased with the response we’ve been getting. Gotta love social media for getting the word out there. Thanks to everyone who has shared, tweeted, or reposted my blog. The added visibility is a big help.

The added visibility also makes selling Mattina feel real for me, and I have to confess there is a little part of me that’s sad. But alas, new adventures await, and I’m excited about that too.

Mattina At Anchor

The Bahamas provide many  beautiful places to anchor, and there’s nothing like the clear blue water to entice a sailor to stay a while.

This is our fifth winter roaming the Bahamian islands and cays, and I’m still amazed at the beauty of the water.

Now I need to make the most of it and enjoy what’s on offer. Hence . . . time to go beach running.

Thanks for reading  . . .

  1. The Bahamas from your pictures and all that I’ve heard people say is indeed beautiful. I wish you good luck in selling your boat. I can understand your sadness. This boat has taken you on many wonderful adventures.

More wonderful adventures are in store for you. Just in a different format.

    Good luck!
    Fondly, Joan

  2. Dec 30th our dogs in daycare broke the monitor of my beloved computer. so I have been without communication until yesterday. My human momma Jean was in the Dominican republic on a mission tripo with the church and just got back on the 11th so we are just catching up with our friends. Are you planning to buy another boat or stop sailing all together? I looked through your older post and couldn’t tell if you were stopping the sailing.. M.J.

    1. Too bad about the broken monitor. Sounds like a great thing to do in the DR. Good for you. We’re not sure what we’re doing next. We’ll decide in over the next few months. We like to live by plan-no-plan 🙂

        1. Momma Jean said she isn’t ready to retire from dog daycare yet but that is most likely what we will do. We have family in CA, TEXAS and Fla. AND Indiana
