Farley here,
Kristina had a dog before me, and I’m just a little bit jealous. Chica was a Yellow Lab, and when Kristina talks about her, she gets this wistful look in her eye.
I know she loves me, but I think she loved Chica, too. I guess that’s ok.
Today, Chica appears in a blog by Judy Penz Sheluk and she’s talking about some funny things she did a work with Kristina.
You can check out the interview if you want. I won’t mind…

Hi Farley, this is Gibbs reporting in. I know how you feel! Judy had 4 dogs before me, and 3 of them were Golden Retrievers! I know she misses every one of them but I also know she loves me. Sometimes I think all the dogs from before me are a part of me. Maybe a part of Chica is inside of you, too!

Hi Gibbs, that’s so great to know. Your human must really like Golden Retrievers.

I think so. Her first dog when she was a kid was part golden. She always tells people she loves everything about goldens except the dog hair!

Kristina says she loves Golden Retrievers too. She wouldn’t even mind the hair in the house. I better be careful, or I’ll end up with a roommate.

I can relate to what your dog,Chica at your office. We were selling our house and on one realtor visit with potential buyer, she discovered the same type of steamy….. In the dining room left by our Beagle, Fred.
On a second showing, Fred just lifted his leg and peed, never had done that before! HORRIFIED is putting it mildly 😊 Needless to say, they didn’t make an offer.

Lol, I think Fred is telling you he doesn’t want to move! My human, Mathew, had a dog names Fred. he was part Beagle part something else. He was names after a golfer, but I don’t know if he ever gave messages like your Fred is doing. I’m wagging my tail at him. Good boy for communicating.

I know how you feel, Farley. Annabelle had a dog before me called Siouxsie Sioux, and she has a photo of Siouxsie on her desk that’s bigger than the photo of me. 😦

A guess humans miss their past dogs. You could always knock the photo over with your tail and pretend you did it by mistake.
